Founded in Rotherham in 1983 H.A.Watson quickly established themselves as a quality producer of Stainless Steel Round Wires. As the company grew – so did the product range and the addition of Profiled Wires opened up new markets and opportunities. The company now operating as Watson Wire Ltd – became very well known and respected throughout the industry and in 2007 became Hempel Wire Ltd – in a move to promote the global presence of the Hempel Group products. With a long history of manufacturing high quality wires but flexible enough to cover most demands – we recognise that sometimes only a few kilos is more than enough. With a size range of 0.8mm – 18.00 mm we can cover most demands.

Through ongoing investment and development - Hempel Wire is now considered to be one of the World’s leading Round & Shaped Wire manufacturers – specialising in very high quality Stainless Steel and Nickel Alloy Wires. From our new purpose built facility in Rotherham (United Kingdom) we supply Shaped Wire internationally to many major companies involved in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Chemical / Pulp & Paper and Water Filtration. Producing in all Stainless Steel grades / Duplex & Super Duplex and special Nickel Alloys including 825 and 625 to the most demanding applications at a competitive price. Our focus on quality has meant we have grown significantly to become one of the worlds finest Profile and Round Wire producers – specialising in standard and the exotic.

The latest development has seen the company introduce a range of Speciality Welding Wires. Focusing on Duplex / Super Duplex and Nickel Alloys Wires that will perfectly compliment the range of other products stocked and supplied throughout the Hempel Group.
